About me

I’m a geek.  I’ve been working in higher education information technology for nearly 30 years (resume). I started as a systems manager. My primary technical expertise is in technology infrastructure, and I have also worked on instructional technology and  administrative systems.

After seven years as AVP of Information Technology and Deputy CIO at Baruch College, I have been asked to be Interim Vice President of Information Services and CIO pending a national search.  I work to ensure we have the highest quality IT services for the community.

I have taken an active interest in social media and have had success with a virtual avatar that allowed me to communicate with more people than I would have otherwise.

I have a family and a house.  I have tried to make fitness (again) a priority in the last few years and frequently engage in running and cycling.

I can be found on LinkedIn, Mastodon, Twitter (for now), Facebook, Tumblr, and Instagram.  If you’re really interested in me you can go to my personal site.
